  • Regional Arts Commission Artist Fellowship

I am honored that I have been chosen to receive a 2016 Artist Fellowship from the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis. Since 2013, RAC has awarded ten individual, unrestricted grants each year to artists living and working in St. Louis.

This grant will help me finish photographing for To Survive on this Shore by making it possible to travel to locations I have not yet been able to reach, including more rural or less populated areas of the country.

To date, I have photographed 73 people in 21 states throughout the United States. This grant will allow me to fill in critical gaps and complete the series in 2017.

A huge thank you to RAC for their support! I am honored to be among this dynamic group of artists.
